Elisabet Andrés García
Elisabet Andres is graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valladolid (Spain). She also holds a Master in Integrated Management and Corporate Responsibility (University of Concepcion – Chile) and a Master in Education (International University Isabel I – Spain). After completing her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland (Australia), and before joining EuRIC in August 2019, she worked as post-doctoral researcher at the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO, Belgium) and as an innovation consultant at PNO Consultants (Belgium). She has several years of experience as project engineer, in small and large research projects (incl. H2020) particularly regarding water treatment systems and the recovery and valorisation of critical raw materials. At EuRIC, Elisabet looks after technical matters that arise from the interface between chemicals, products, waste, and legislation for different resource streams, the IED as well as funding opportunities for the recycling industry.
