Alejandro Navazas joined EuRIC in 2020. He is graduated in Biology with a Master in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo (Spain). In further collaboration as a research scientist within the Centre for Environmental Sciences (CMK, UHasselt, Belgium), he obtained a PhD in Biology. His research on bioremediation of brownfields was framed under different EU-funded projects and it was international in scope as it was conducted at different universities and institutions. At EuRIC, Alejandro addresses the technical issues that arise from the interface between chemicals, products and waste legislation.
